One deck. Different jobs. The right kit.
Look past the kit name and get to know the component list.
Explore spindle, pulley, blade and belt combinations. Read each kit’s component list and quantities, then compare the individual parts with your deck’s requirements.
A few details worth checking.
Begin with the job, not just the kit name.
Look at the listed components. A spindle and pulley set is different from a bundle containing belts and blades. Use the parts diagram to identify what your job requires.
Check each component separately.
Compare every blade, spindle, pulley and belt with the equipment requirements. A spindle housing is not the same description as a complete spindle assembly. Keep separately listed entries separate.
Count what is actually listed.
Read each component quantity and check whether mounting hardware is explicitly included. A title stating two blades does not mean two complete repair kits.
Keep the documentation close.
These are buying checks, not installation instructions or a diagnosis. Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and resolve uncertain specifications before ordering or working on the machine.
Does every deck repair kit contain the same parts?
No. Compare the component list and quantities for the individual kit. Check belt, blade and spindle specifications separately, and confirm whether mounting hardware is included.
